Home remedies for acne.

Skin problems such as pimples, pustules, papules, cysts, nodules, pinheads, whiteheads and blackheads are all collectively called as acne or acne vulgaris. Generally people face acne problem with the onset of puberty. Some people face this problem till the age of 35 or even beyond. Hormonal imbalance and over secretion of oil glands are the main causes of acne. The other causes of acne are dust, bacteria, dirt etc. People take acne on face more seriously but they ignore body acne.

But we should not ignore body acne our entire body is important to us not the face alone. Acne on body occurs on arms, neck, chest, legs, buttocks, and legs. Some people face severe type of body acne. Body acne may be inflammatory or non-inflammatory or some may face a combination of both. Inflammatory acne includes papules, pustules and cysts while non-inflammatory include whiteheads and blackheads. Severe type of body acne is quite painful. Some other causes of body acne are allergy towards cosmetics, sweat, synthetic fibers, tight clothing, sensitive skin, allergy to soaps and detergents.

Home remedies for face and body acne.

1. Take regular bath and use medicated soap while bathing.

2. Benzyl peroxide is very useful for treatment of acne so use the cream that contains benzyl peroxide.

3. Due to excessive sweating dust, dirt and germs get accumulated on body parts which cause acne condition. Always wipe your body with clean towel.

4. Mixture of yoghurt and strawberry or lime juice is very useful for acne. Apply this mixture on the acne.

5. To heal and soothe the lesions apply a gel of Aloe Vera.

6. Paste of cucumber is applied on the infected parts. This is a good remedy for body acne.

7. Tea tree oil also heals the body acne.

8. Do not touch the affected parts with your hands as they carry bacteria, dirt which may worsen the condition. It is advisable to wash the hands again and again.

9. The covers on the bed should be clean as dirty linens may cause more trouble by infecting the acne with dirt.

10. Avoid fatty and junk foods in your diet.

11. Drink plenty of water and fruit juices as water helps to flush out toxins from the body.

12. Vitamin A and zinc are taken as supplements to fight acne problem.
